Handwen’s passion for real estate began when he purchased his first home. Experiencing the homebuying process firsthand sparked his interest in the real estate industry and inspired him to help others navigate their own journeys toward homeownership. He understands that buying a home is a significant milestone and looks forward to helping clients approach the process with confidence and clarity.

With experience in construction, property maintenance, and local business management, Handwen brings a practical, solution-oriented approach to real estate. His background has strengthened his communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, allowing him to work effectively with people and navigate challenges. He is excited to put this experience to work by helping buyers and future homeowners make informed decisions as they pursue their real estate goals in the Shenandoah Valley.

Outside of real estate, Handwen enjoys playing soccer, reading, and tackling home improvement projects. He also has a passion for travel and strives to visit a new country each year. Exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures allows him to broaden his perspective and appreciate the many ways people around the world define home.
