Founded in 1835, Bridgewater is an incorporated town in Rockingham County, Virginia. Included as part of the Harrisonburg Metropolitan area, Bridgewater boasts a population of just over 6,000 people. The town is home to Bridgewater College and is also conveniently located close to James Madison University.
