Kemper has 20 years experience in real estate marketing and brokerage. This includes a portfolio of residential properties from townhomes to multi-million dollar estates. His commercial experience includes tenant representation, sales, leasing and site selection.

Kemper has been recognized by his peers as the local REALTOR of the Year in 2009 and the recipient of the Virginia REALTOR Code of Ethics Leadership Award in 2014. He is also a certified instructor of REALTOR Ethics and an adjunct professor of real estate at James Madison University.

As Chief Operating Officer and Supervising Broker, Kemper oversees all of the company’s daily operational functions. He assists sales associates with transaction questions and business development. He has held various positions with the company including Sales Associate and Director of Marketing.

He is currently serving as Vice President of the Virginia REALTORS. He is a past Chair of the National Association of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee, past President of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Association of REALTORS, past Chair of the Virginia Association of REALTORS Risk Management Committee and past member of the National Association of REALTORS Strategic Planning Committee.

He has a Master of Business Administration degree from James Madison University and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from James Madison University. He is a graduate of the 2008 National Association of REALTORS Leadership Academy and the 2006 Virginia Association of REALTORS Leadership Academy.

Kemper lives in Harrisonburg with his wife Ashleigh, son Peyton and daughter Alexandra. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf with his son and traveling with his family.
